If you are seeking a classic yet casual & rustic setting, a BIG red “barn-inspired” and mountain top nature facility that is VERY UNIQUE for even the most discriminating bride and groom, we may be just the place for you.
SILVER HEARTH LODGE is a private and gated Roanoke wedding venue that encompasses the very top of Bent Mountain on 40 acres…we are the ONLY PRIVATE MOUNTAIN TOP WEDDING VENUE IN THE ENTIRE SOUTHEAST. Silver Hearth Lodge is not year typical “big-box” type wedding venue… It is an entire wedding campus that hosts ONLY weddings. The elevation is close to 3000′ above sea level with views of the Roanoke Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains that go on and on and on for as far as the eye can see. While spring and fall weddings are our most popular, summer weddings on the mountain top can boast perfect temperatures (average 76 degrees in August).

Our refined rustic Roanoke wedding venue can accommodate up to 300 for a wedding ceremony/ reception event and in the rare event of inclement weather, our indoor rain plan is flawless! Since we are a “day lodge,” overnight accommodations for you/your guests are provided by Holiday Inn Tanglewood [Roanoke, VA] at deeply discounted rates…they will even help with your transportation needs to and from the venue on their shuttle bus!
Because we believe that you should have whatever type of catering you want and not be forced to use “the venues’ choice,” we have an extensive list of caterers (ranging from $10 – $150 per person) who are included in our catalog of professional wedding vendors – all of whom have agreed to offer their services at VERY reasonable rates! Your special day will be easy, affordable & incredible because we have done much of the decorating and nearly all of the work for you with set up/take down/clean up. …and yes, alcohol is allowed (BYOB) at our facility with no restrictions.
A few of our facilities that will enhance your dream day include: VistaView Hall – our huge red barn reception hall with a luxurious bridal suite, Starbucks featured coffee bar, caterers kitchen, high tech dance floor & lighting, cantina bar, wood-burning fireplaces, our prized “sipping” porch with vintage wooden rocking chairs and lots of chandeliers and twinkle lights throughout.
Other facilities include the: Overlook Pavilion, grooms cabin known as the SUGAR CAMP, 1890’s domed wrought iron wedding gazebo w/ mason jar chandelier, Native American Fire Circle with its flame tower & stone fire pit, SKY SHELTER I-our new Ralph Lauren inspired “glamping” cabin, Sacred Heart Chapel – Virginia’s Smallest Church (rates for very small elopement weddings start @ $995), beautiful guest bathrooms, Woodridge for Kids Playground, our Kennel Club for boarding your 4 legged family members and plenty of on-site parking for all of your guests.
