3 Things that Keep Guests at Your Wedding

There are 3 things that you can do to keep your guests at the wedding day, afterall, you want them to stay throughout the wedding day, celebrating your day.

I turned to Silver Hearth Lodge owner, Bob Johnston for some insights on the subject matter and he offered me 3 things that can greatly help.

Safety & Security

First, he says that your guests need both safety and security, it helps make them feel at ease.

Ensure the facility has good signage, showing where the bathrooms are, for example, and other things at the wedding campus, like overlooks, the bar, lawn games, etc.

When it comes to safety, that’s very important, people want to see the venue offer handicapped parking, fire extinguishers, or railing if there are areas like water or cliffs at the venue. People want to feel safe wherever they are and that includes venues.

Comfort

Bob says that people also want comfort at the venues, from upscale and comfortable seating to easy access to the bar of food, creature comforts are key at a venue. Without them, your guests will be bored and leave early, which brings us to point number 3.

Stimulation

The most important thing at a venue is stimulation for your friends and family, the more there is to do at the wedding venue, the more the guests will stay until the end. Things like bars and cancer floors only go so far, so look for things like firepits, smores bars, lawn games areas, swings, and sitting porches.

Make sure the venue offers many different things for your guests and they will greatly appreciate it and the better the chances they will stay until the exit.
